Aims of the BIHA 1) To improve the profitability of each member company by the pooling and sharing of ideas, innovations, hints and tips.
2) To protect and support the business interests of members and to take action in any matter affecting the trade locally or nationally.
3) To educate and train members as to the correct operating procedures, and safe working practices for hiring out bouncy castles and inflatables.
4) To ensure that all member companies comply with relevant standards and codes of practice, and professional integrity, to an agreed minimum industry standard. The most important being adequate public liability insurance.
5) To offer relevant services and products to members, at discounted rates, through a panel of providers.
6) To develop closer working relationships, and co-operation between inflatable hirers, and create contacts within the industry on a national and local basis.
7) To keep members informed of developments of common interest through regular newsletters (usually via email).
8) To identify new products, services and opportunities which complement hiring bouncy castles and inflatables.
9) To establish links with other relevant organizations in the UK and abroad.
10) To represent the interests of the inflatable hire industry at central and local Government level and with other organizations whose activities may affect our industry.
11) To act as spokesperson for the inflatable hire industry.
12) To help support and advance the science and technology of designing and manufacturing bouncy castles and inflatables for the future.
