BIHA strongly recommend that every time a member hires out an inflatable(s) either to the general public or corporate event, the customer is given a safety instruction form to read and then to sign to confirm they have understood the correct safety procedures. This contains all the relevant safety points and "do's and don'ts". The BIHA also strongly recommend that each customer is given a copy of a discllaimer (all members receive a sample disclaimer upon joining).

We have nearly 15 years experience of hiring inflatables and through trial and error, we know the mistakes that customers and their guests can make whilst using the inflatable. (e.g. children climbing or hanging on the walls, and a common problem we've experienced is children taking food and drink on to the inflatable, and children with face-paint on causing a mess on the unit.)

We have identified and listed 16 safety points, which we hand out to the customer, they then sign it, give it back to us and then they keep a copy for themselves. As a member of BIHA, you are welcome to download a copy of this safety instruction sheet template and the legal disclaimer (completely free of charge) and use it to give out to your own customers.

As well as improving the safety of the inflatable whilst in use, having a comprehensive safety instruction sheet will be really appreciated by your customers, and will increase your professionalism, this can lead to more referrels, and therefore more business!

As an additional bonus, I have also included a free safety template to be used when your customers collect the inflatable from you. This also shows the customer how to roll up and pack away the inflatable after the function.
