Why Choose A BIHA Member?
All BIHA members agree to follow a Code Of Conduct and agree to only hire out
inflatables that are in a safe and clean condition.
Although belonging to an organisation or trade group, like the BIHA, does not guarantee a member's integrity or
professionalism, it does indicate a member company's willingness to learn about Health & Safety, good customer
service, an eagerness to grow their business and network with other BIHA members in their area. It also shows that members are keen to learn about industry legislation and "best practices" from the regular BIHA newsletters.
In addition, if you choose a BIHA member for your bouncy castles/inflatable hire requirements you get an extra
level of assurance that they will do a good job.
In the unlikely event that you are disappointed with the service provided by a BIHA member, then please e-mail me.
If, however, the member you chose has provided a good service, then please recommend them to your
friends!
Although it is impossible for the BIHA to "police" the inflatable hire industry in the UK and the actions of it's members, it works hard to educate members as to "best working practices", safe operation, good
customer service and the importance of hiring out safe & clean equipment etc. . The BIHA also recommend that all
members have at least £1 million Public Liability Insurance Cover for all their Bouncy Castles & Inflatables.
The BIHA supports and recommends the PIPA scheme. Although we recommend PIPA, because it is "best practice", we do not, however, make it a compulsory membership requirement.
