Xtreme Tip 5

INCREASE YOUR HIRE BOOKINGS BY 10% To 50% BY ACCEPTING PAYPAL

FROM YOUR CUSTOMERS AND HAVING A PAYPAL BUTTON ON YOUR WEBSITE

In 2006, I did a short talk at a trade show about the importance of

giving your customers the option to pay for their inflatable bookings

using PayPal.

I also mentioned that when a hire company does this, then they should

see a surge in bookings (by 10% or much more). The reason for this is

that some customers don’t regard the money in their Paypal account as

“real money” but more as “monopoly money” or “funny money”. This is

because some of them have received this money by selling unwanted

second-hand goods on eBay, and the money is just sitting in their

account, not doing anything!

If you accept Paypal, some of your customers will jump at the chance of

clearing their Paypal account, and you benefit!

In addition, and very importantly, some customers have not got the

ready cash to book an inflatable with you, but they have to do

something for their child’s birthday or event. The solution:

they can use their credit card!   If you have a PayPal account,

then you can also automatically receive payments via debit or credit

card. (Be aware though that there are charges, but you can ask the

customer to pay these).

This one tip should increase your turnover by a minimum of 10% (or

possibly a lot more depending on how much your customers like using

their credit card instead of cash or cheque).

If you are not sure how to accept PayPal, or place a PayPal button on

your website, please ask on the discussion forum on www.BouncyCastleOwner.com and then we will do our best to help you.
